Sept 25 - Debacle Update

Finally, some news regarding the unnecessary fingerprint debacle that's been keeping us here for the past 10 days. The Kiev based US Embassy lady says soonest we will get fingerprints approved is Friday. If that happens we can run there and pick up our visas same day and fly home Saturday. The worst case scenario is we will get fingerprints on Monday and fly Tuesday which I'm mega hoping doesn't happen.
PS. Knowing this new info, we will help Vickie with arrangements to go home early; flying her home Thursday. We told her she is flying with the assurance that we will make sure to look around the airports on our way home Saturday (or Monday) for her and if she's still wandering around the airport looking for her gate we can direct her to the proper gate.
